The Bee's Knees

Add this to the list of things I never knew, but should have:

Bee cowboys drive their herds around the country, going from crop to crop, pollinating all the way. Without these bee-keeping migrants, fruit and nut farmers wouldn't have enough pollination to have their bumper crops. That's why the beeman and the farmer should be friends.

Best Farmers Ever.

I never knew that either! You are so helpful. You really have helped me in life. Thanks so much. Also I really like the previous post on this weekend. It was all good. I was there for most. Although I do wish I had gotten to go to Rock Bottom but I didn't know about it. And I wish you could have gone BBQing with me. Another time.

Do Bee's have knees? or do their legs just have a bendable part like bendi-straws?

I saw a beetle as big as my palm yesterday. It moved very slowly.

True story: There was a bee-breeding place in Minneapolis that accidentally let their bees out for the day. They were spotted two blocks from my school, hugging onto a stoplight. They had to call in beekeepers and pest control agents to reign them all in and take them back home. As far as I know, no one was stung.

Blake, i'd have run up to them and yelled "Bleh!!!" and then run away. That'd be good fun.
Jo, what did you name the beetle? I'd have called it Cornelius, but that's just me.
