I won't regale you with another missive on Groundhog Day, but I'd just like to note the following:
Punxsutawney Phil Predicts an Early Spring
Yeah, except it happened in December and most of January. You're behind the times Phil, reporting yesterday's news. Note that this is only the 15th time he's not seen his shadow, and first since 1998. So that's something. Wait, no, that's really not something; it's pretty much nothing.

You do realize that to supersticious German's everywhere, the significance of the shadow or no shadow is key. Goes back to the same people that brought you the Christmas tree, the Christmas Pickle, Stockings on the mantle, Octoberfest, Weinersnitzel, Schnitz, Beer, Leiderhosen, Shoo-Fly Pie, and Sauercraut.
